• Generic Requirements

• Valid Original Passport with minimum 6 months validity from the date of return from the Schengen countries.
• Introduction Letter from Employer in English mentioning the following details:
  • Addressed to the respective Embassy
  • Monthly salary
  • Job position
  • Date of joining and contract end date
  • Purpose of travel such as Business, Conference, Training, Tourism, or Other
  • Confirmation of who will cover the expenses of the trip
  • Letter should be attested by the Chamber of Commerce
    (Not required for Government Employees)
• 2 Recent Passport-Size Colour Photographs
  • White background
  • Without head cover
  • Size: 3.5 x 4.5 cm
• Original Bank Statement
  • Must be a salary account
  • Statement for the last 6 months
  • Must not be more than one week old
  • Must be in English
  • Must be stamped by the bank
  • Must show sufficient funds to cover the trip
• Hotel Booking and Round-Trip Ticket Reservations in English.
• Travel Insurance covering COVID-19.
• Copy of Saudi ID with English translation.
• Copy of Iqama with English Translation for non-Saudi applicants.
  • Iqama must be valid for at least 3 months from the date of return from Schengen countries.
• Copy of Exit & Re-Entry Visa in English, stamped by the company for non-Saudi applicants.
• Absher Printout showing personal and family information for non-Saudi applicants.
• Copies of Previous Schengen Visas, if any.
• Invitation Letter from an Organization in the Schengen Area is required for a Business Visit.

Special Note

• Passport must have at least 6 months validity from the intended date of return.
• Non-Saudi applicants must ensure that their Iqama is valid for at least 3 months from the return date.
• The bank statement must cover the last 6 months, be issued within the last one week, and be officially stamped by the bank.
• Employer letters must be issued in English and include salary, job position, joining date, travel purpose, and trip expense details.
• Chamber of Commerce attestation is required for the employer letter, except for Government Employees.
• Additional documentation may be required depending on the applicant’s nationality, profession, and purpose of travel.
• For Business Visits, an invitation letter from the concerned organization in the Schengen Area is required.
